Barking Haworth.

Why is Barking Bonkers Haworth not taking this up at the meeting she attends as an official of Isallt?
She is already in the tent so to speak, yet she is standing outside complaining.

Cllr Janet Howarth, who owns the nearby Abbey Lodge, said while the businesses supported the work being done at Ty Isallt and had “empathy and understanding” for the young people and the staff, they felt that their vews had been neglected by Pennaf Housing.

She said: “There is a feeling from some of the businesses that empathy is not two-way. I don’t think Pennaf and Clwyd Alun Housing Association understand the impact an incident like that could have on businesses on Abbey Road.”

“The local police have confirmed that any such instances have been minimal and they are happy with the current situation at the project.”

"Mighty little force is needed to control a man whose mind has been hoodwinked; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, a man whose mind is free. No, not the rack, not fission bombs, not anything - you can't conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him." - Robert A. Heinlein

"Couldn't help reading on another Forum about what seems to be a (cosy) arrangement between Councillors Evans and Lyons regarding a Grant to replace replacment windows that apparently did not comply with the rules and regulations.   Can't say too much about it until a bit of research has been carried out.   More later!"

Is it true what a relation who works for the council tells me, Lyon has had a grant for her windows on her 3 story property in Llandudno?
She swears down it is true.

Dear Conwy County Borough Council,

Could you please confirm that Councillor Margaret Lyon received
grant aid to replace her windows on her commercial property in
Llandudno whilst other people have been told that there was no
grant aid available?
What system is in place and what is the criteria to receive grant
aid on a commercial property please?

Yours faithfully,

are the conservatives getting their claws out in relation to Cll Lyons I wonder, watch your back margaret.
no doubt there was a chance she did get a grant for her windows, what the heck most of them who attend council meetings at bodlondeb are keen to recieve favours of kind if it is only free meals at meetings
