I have now been become caught in the middle between one, two, or even more persons fixation with this blog and others, they in turn have pointed several fingers at others who in turn have pointed their fingers, too much my friends for others to have to put up with.
Fine that is ok by me, maybe not by them though, and to be frank I have enough going on in my life, always have had to be honest, so for now this blog is being scaled down, comments will be continued to be published at regular intervals, but I make no further commitment for posting for now, it has been over two and a half years of constant posting, it is time for a break. I feel stale,
I will one day return, but hand on heart am not sure whether it will be sooner or later, that friends of the blog is the honest truth, who knows I may well miss the blog, it has been a long time, and by the comments and private e mails have all been enjoyed, I will still not disclose the blog statistics, but they have become beyond all expectations that I ever had for a loyal readership such as yours, you have been kind to me.
Thank you all for that, I am truly touched.
May I leave one cast iron guarantee, that is worth more than David Cameron's cast iron guarantees, I stand by all I have posted, I have NEVER knowingly posted an untruth, and have never been involved in any other blogs or forums.

Not long ago you posted a congratulatory comment in regards to certain Councillors publicising certain things; you, yourself, do more of that than we ever could. You, above all, are the vehicle in which information is spread so, if only for the good of public enlightenment, I would urge you to reconsider giving up entirely. There are volumes that need to be told and you are the individual that can do it. Personally I think you have done magnificently so far but there is still much to tell, whatever you decide to do you will take my admiration with you.
If I can just be left in peace for a bloody change, i'll throw in a tenner on top of that.

I would like to add the only persons who "made this happen" were the people who took the homeless in, in the first place KNOWINGLY flouting the planning regulations hoping to make a quick buck, they HAVE to take full responsibility, a heavy burden to carry if there there was one, for it deals in human misery, not at all nice, no doubt they will run off and blame everyone and everything but themselves, that seems normal in some sections of today's society!

We have too few who are prepared to lift the carpets to show what's amassing in the dark corners and the underlay; too few who are prepared to stand up and say what they think is wrong and expose the unbelievable and the deceitful. If you go, that small group is diminished by one third in number, but so much more in stature.

It would appear that the Clarence Hotel has indeed been closed.
If any further firm facts emerge, I will post them purely because this subject has been such a hot potato in the past, one email has alleged that the conditions were truly awful for these people who have been staying there, this adds credence to the believe that the operators only ever saw the housing the people there as a nice little earner. it was one of them that actually said that themselves.
So much for their social conscience's!
I have had a couple of less than complimentary comments left by someone associated with the Clarence.

A mate of mine who was involved in this multi agency action tells me that the conditions of the hotel were so bad to be a death trap, an accident waiting to happen.
He went on to say that the conditions these people were living in was truly appalling, and this is the year 2009, he wonders why action was not taken sooner, as even the fire escapes were not fit for use should a fire have started there, this action may well have saved lives.
Well done to the fire service, police and the council.
A man who was working there has made it known that he was "stuffed by the owner of another hotel" who was involved, he doubts that he will see the money owed to him.

Have you ever thought the comments you think are from who you think they are from are indeed not from that person/people but people that just hate whoever you are, Anon you should stay forever, the reason behind that is because you have upset far too many people down the line to name a few Dickens, Henders, MP's, bloggers(one of whom knows who you are If I know craig will spill the beans) etc etc etc.
I visited the Clarence in the summer, and it was clean nice food okay so a few problems here and there but it was getting there, did not go back in september onwards as it changed hands?!
I think the Clarence will stay shut down, I dont think the owner gives a damn anymore!

Saw a small school party staying at the Jenivore this week, not sure if youre correct about "the same thing going on there".
The council is a bit hypocritical, they put their problems in the Clarence then close it down, apparently though, the two managers were a pair of goons who treated the hotel worse than wayne and waynetta slob, apparently the kitchn was disgusting
I can not see how the Jenivore has a party of school children in, Mr Climpson said on this very blog he was no longer able to take parties in.
The same sort of resident is in the Jenivore as the Clarence had, bad news there I'm afraid as it was he who instigated the Clarence taking these unfortunates in.
Good point about the council seeing fit to have paid for all of the housing though.
CCBC has NOT placed anyone in the Clarance or the Jenivore.
These people are claiming benifits direct. They then spend the benefit where they wish.
The prices on offer at the Clarence with accomodation and food including mean its attractive to these people. Even if it means living in an unsafe dump.
Although the saga has been going on for sometime, it does take time to formulate all the evidence and partner organisations to hopefully bring about the biggest impact.
I think you will find it was his partner who was running the hotel upstairs that instigated the problems, as far as I know mr neil climson ran the bar and restaurant and he left over the issues of those types of residents clashing with what was half a decent bar/restaurant, the two just didnt work together apparently and their was constant thefts from the kitchen and bar, sad really coz it had the makings of a decent pizeria, i even went in there one day and the lasagne was lovely.

What readers do not know is that there are good reasons to suspect some one who has previously been involved in some Internet problems are obviously on the prowl up to no good.
I have had several contradictory e mails and comments off a person well known on the local sites, some published, some private.
All is not what it seems at present, that is for sure.
And as usual that comment comes from yet another anonymous faceless individual who has decided to have a go at Adrian, again. The JW information was given to him by another and was believed to be correct. At least he is man enough to make an apology when one is due!

And exactly what has Andy Tunstle done to help things along? When did he last lobby a Councillor or write to the Press? Andy man, you will find that much of the content on the Blogs can and does assist in getting things done.

I have known Steven Dickens for many a year as a friend, and I know for a fact that he is a great admirer of this blog, he amongst other things like the way the blog is run in such an unbiased manner, even when in the past it has published good and bad things about himself, anyone who knows Steven will tell yout is how he feels about this blog.
As for Craig Ollerton, well where do we start?
After all the stories that have come out of his mouth, only for the same stories to about turn days later, look at the comments he has left on this blog, they are the sign of a person with more faces than a town hall clock, only a cople of days ago he wanted to bite off peoples faces, then urges you to post again!
If anyone walked around the town as if they were King Dick it was this boy, Oscar called him harmless, I would strongly disagree, the likes of Craig and their 5 course Christmas dinners and 50.0000 pounds worth of investment due any day make his opinion utterly worthless.
