Maybe?

Really not sure if there is any truth in this, but I have been told that Halfords in Llandudno is to be knocked down, replaced with what I do not know.
It follows that if this is to happen, the garage service centre next door will have to go/relocate.
As I said I have no idea how kosher this is, but the chap who told me did not tell me in a malicious way, and he does work on the Park, so may well be right.
I have not seen a planning application to support this theory though.
Unless of course they do a Clarence hotel, knock it down, rebuild and plead ignorance, doubt some elements of the planning department would even notice.

I've known something has been up for some time now but cant stick a finger on it Oscar. Halfords could well be locating itself back into the main terrace of Mostyn Champneys. I'm 75% sure of this, I would guess the service centre will be scrapped if this is so. I also heard of a possible relocation of B&Q to Llandudno Junction. I know 2 employees of B&Q have been paid a large sums of money to retire already. I have my suspicions of something more sinister going on behind the scenes that the public arent being made aware of. The public are always the last to hear of anything, i'm sure the future of these two prime locations have had something in the pipeline for them many years before we've even got a sniff of it now. Perhaps another load of retail units after the site is cleared and demolished, more headache for independent businesses in town. WHO KNOWS?!?!?!?!

Gosh I hope not. I had excellent service from both those places today. Over and above which is very rare in some places.

Maybe we should ask Jason Weyman if he knows anything about it.
Jason is approachable and doesn`t believe that everything that goes on in the council is fit only for the ears of the elected few.
(which makes them feel important)

To be honest I don't know anything on this, but this is probably because that I don't have the right connections yet.
I'm still working on this and I'll see what I can find out.
Keep your comments coming on Oscar it is a valuable source of information/issues.

There was a plan for a B&Q in Llandudno Junction and has been for a number of years (6 to be exact).

However I believe that this is now not going ahead and a supermarket chain that is already in the area may be looking at the proposed site. This in turn would leave their current site vacant.

As stated before Halfords are moving to the Tile Shop.

Does anyone know about what is planned for the current Halfords site?

Ive been told now that halfords has gone, The garage next door is seemed to be moveing to a unit down builders street and then b&q is to goto Llandudno Junction and the site where all three buisness' where sat will be demolished and rebuild into a multistory carpark to try and sort out traffic problems, I was told this by an employer of the garage next door to the old halfords site?
